BREAKING: Toyota publicly humiliates Donald Trump by destroying his claim that they're investing $10 billion in the United States — just a day after he bragged about it to the troops.

This absurd lie never stood a chance...

“I was just told by the prime minister that Toyota is going to be putting auto plants all over the United States to the tune of over $10 billion. So that's Toyota so go out and buy a Toyota,” Trump said during a speech aboard the USS George Washington at the Yokosuka Naval Base.

According to The New York Times, Japanese officials were "left scrambling to clarify" the truth about Trump's claim after he departed. He made the assertion multiple times in Japan and then continued to repeat it once he arrived in South Korea.

Toyota executive Hiroyuki Ueda has now shot down the $10 billion claim, stating that the company has not announced any new plans for such an investment. During Trump's first disastrous term, Toyota spent roughly $10 billion in the U.S.

Before Trump's visit, Toyota informed him that their "current intention is to proceed at a scale roughly equal to what we did under the previous Trump administration, or under Mr. Biden in between."

"During the first Trump administration, I think the figure was roughly around $10 billion, so while we didn’t say the same scale, we did explain that we’ll keep investing and providing employment as before. So, probably because of that context, the figure of about $10 billion came up," said Ueda.

"Therefore, we didn’t specifically say that we’ll invest $10 billion over the next few years," he added.

As if that weren't bad enough, the White House also released a memo yesterday claiming that Toyota will soon begin importing vehicles made in America to Japan. However, Toyota has not made such a commitment and clarified that they are only "considering" such a move.

Once again, we see that Trump's "achievements" are nothing more than cheap, transparent lies that collapse under the most cursory of examinations.
