@Acyn This guy is amazing and to be honest I rock with it.
He’s authentically speaking to working class people and them only not another country or donors
Jeff Bridges: It’s really not about what political party you belong to. I think we can all agree that our kids, in one of the wealthiest countries in the world, shouldn’t be struggling with hunger this way, and that parents shouldn’t have to choose between paying rent and putting groceries in the refrigerator.
Some of the most dignified people on the planet had the misfortune of being born next door to a vicious apartheid colony
This is the story of how they tried to return home this past week, as Israel intensified its massacres
RFK Jr has announced that there will be no more testing for measles, as measles cases surge in America, proving that one way or another the Republicans are going to make sure that guns are not the number one killer of children in America.
The Progressive movement is gaining steam.
Democrats who do not get on board will be left behind.
Republicans who get in the way will be crushed.
The people have spoken and this is what we want:
- Tax billionaires.
- Focus on affordability.
- Job protection for workers. Pro-Union.
- Medicare for all.
- Fair, and humane immigration reform.
- LGBTQ rights.
- Anti-War.
- Increased workers wages.
- No more AIPAC backed candidates. (Or any pay-to-play politics).
San José State University professor Sang Hea Kil has been reinstated after an arbitrator ruled her dismissal was excessive.
Kil was fired over alleged violations of university policy linked to her participation in pro-Palestinian protests on campus. The university claimed she encouraged students to join demonstrations during the Gaza war.
After a year-long suspension and appeal, the arbitrator found that although she engaged in unprofessional conduct, there was no evidence she neglected her teaching duties, and her termination was deemed “excessive and disproportionate.”
@MiaLaTorre713@maddenifico@elonmusk WTF? Musk is a complete fraud. But you didnt take advantage of the free socialist education and now you exist in ignorance
@mbartl5225@maddenifico Classic MAGAt - only worried about what's in it for me.
A healthier, safer, better educated community is better for everyone.
Funny how all these MAGAts got free socialist education but wasted it
@8LeggedElephant@maddenifico Lol, you should have used the socalist education they gave you. Now, you're fucking stupid, don't have a clue what "socialism" is, and you cant comprehend a tweet. Good luck turning around your shitty life!
Since taking office as Mayor of New York City, there's not one fucking thing Zohran Mamdani has done for New Yorkers that could be described as "radical."
Since taking office on January 1, 2026, as New York City’s first Muslim and South Asian mayor, Zohran Mamdani has prioritized an "affordability first" agenda focused on working-class New Yorkers. Balancing democratic socialist policy goals with pragmatic municipal service management (coining the phrase "pothole politics"), his administration has targeted child care, tenant relief, street infrastructure, and local political organizing.
👶 Expansion of Early Child Care
ㆍ Universal 2-K Funding: Partnered with Governor Kathy Hochul to secure $1.2 billion in state funding for fiscal year 2027.
ㆍ New Toddler Seats: Rolled out the first 2,000 full-day, full-year 2-K seats for toddlers in low-income neighborhoods like Canarsie, Brownsville, and Ozone Park.
ㆍ Provider Resources: Created an interactive child care provider tracking tool and launched a streamlined permitting portal to help local daycare centers expand operations.
🏠 Tenant Protections & Housing Policy
ㆍ Financial Restitution: Secured $34 million in repairs, settlements, and legal judgments on behalf of wronged tenants.
ㆍ Construction Task Forces: Signed executive orders creating the SPEED and LIFT Task Forces to aggressively clear red tape and encourage new housing construction on city-owned land.
ㆍ Landlord Crackdowns: Revitalized the Mayor's Office to Protect Tenants and appointed prominent tenant organizers to target predatory landlord loopholes.
🚗 Municipal Services ("Pothole Politics")
ㆍ Road Infrastructure: Reconditioned fractured city streets by successfully filling over 100,000 potholes following a harsh winter.
ㆍ Sewer Performance: Allocated $108 million citywide to upgrade sewer performance and combat neighborhood flooding.
ㆍ Trash Bins Expansion: Initiated a citywide timeline to fully transition New York away from black garbage bags and into secure, containerized covered trash bins by 2031.
💼 Worker Rights & Local Economy
ㆍ Wage Recovery: Clawed back $9.3 million in restitution for exploited workers and small businesses.
ㆍ Extreme Heat Mandate: Signed a recent executive order expanding legal protections and mandatory rest times for outdoor and industrial workers facing extreme temperatures.
ㆍ Deliverista Hubs: Opened the nation's first dedicated rest and charging hub for app-based delivery workers.
🚇 Public Transit & Other Stalled Initiatives
ㆍ Bus Lane Progress: Upgraded and widened bus and bike lanes on major corridors like Manhattan's Sixth Avenue to speed up commutes.
ㆍ Free Buses Delay: His flagship campaign promise of a completely fare-free citywide bus system has mostly stalled due to state budget friction, though pilot programs have begun on one line in each borough.
ㆍ City Grocery Stores: Announced plans to open the city's first municipally-owned, affordable grocery store in East Harlem.
🏛️ Political Shift & Regional Influence
ㆍ Primary Sweeps: Proved his immense political capital in the June 2026 Democratic primaries. Mamdani-backed progressive challengers dramatically ousted powerful establishment incumbents (including Dan Goldman and Adriano Espaillat), altering the landscape of New York's congressional delegation.
Went looking for the 300 foot “slit” or “slits” in the reflecting pool Trump keeps lying about. Didn’t find any of that. But did find plenty of signs the paint on the bottom of the pool has simply disintegrated. My latest pool report.
Democrats I think we really should primary:
Hakeem Jeffries
Ritchie Torres
Wesley Bell
Josh Gottheimer
Mark Warner
Tim Kaine
Adam Schiff
Chris Coons
Cory Booker
Chuck Schumer
Kirsten Gillibrand
