@MikeyFromMidgar It's disgraceful. Same thing happened to my son from another supermarket. I had to go and buy him groceries. After nearly 2 weeks they sent him Β£5 voucher off his next shop by way of apology. As if we would ever shop with them again. Hope you can get a better result.
@Boobaloosh I don't know your history but I can only say I too have had days when I have felt the way you describe. It really is true that time helps. Just putting one foot in front of another might be all you can do today but that's enough to keep going. Bless you π
@ManAboutMourne My friend went in for a "medication review" during her cancer treatment. At 5pm she was eating trifle and laughing. At 7.30 they phoned her daughter and said come say goodbye to your mum. Remdesvir given and 2 days later she was gone. She was fine when I left. Bloody disgraceful
@higgyboson I just applied for mine. I didn't have to give all that info. Quite easy in fact. Only bug bear was not getting a full pension because they upped it to 35 years and I only have 33π
@niyetsel Do you have any tips on how to carry this burden? As I get older it feels like she took all of the light with her. It's getting harder as I grow old. This was supposed to be our golden time after bringing our kids up. I miss her so much.
@niyetsel Thanks for that. It hit me hard. I lost my identical twin at 31. I'm 66 now and would share my immortality in a heartbeat. We are Gemini too, double whammy π
@AllanMuldowney@AngryBootneck I got knocked over by one of their vans when I was 3. Was bending over to pick my baby sister's dummy up from the curb when it came hurtling round the corner. The driver offered me a shilling for sweets after. Ringtones is not allowed in our house
@KingBobIIV I was due to be terminated from my job at a youth centre due to cuts. My sister got the kids to sign a petition which was handed to Prince Charles who was visiting another youth centre in the area. I got to keep my job. I was annoyed with her. I wasn't a fan of that family
