Today, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues—attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans.

If you have watched Black Panther, Selma, and Do the Right Thing, you’ve undoubtedly seen the mind-blowing costume design created by Ruth E. Carter, this week’s #hiddenfigure. Her work transcends genres and combines unique color and texture elements to create dynamic sets.
Carter has unleashed her talent on over 60 diverse projects, with her designs being an essential storytelling element in each. She was also featured in a 2019 on episode 3 of the @netflix documentary Abstract, which I highly recommend if you haven’t seen it already!
Absolutely love what @womentalkdesign have going on! They are using their platform to elevate and engagement diverse speakers.
