I really love that they decided to have Claire revive Jamie. I’d have been so angry if they didn’t with all the talk of fate and her being ‘destined’ to be in that time period with him. What was the point if not to save him and live together forever on the ridge⛰️

@itbgal I think Claire would’ve cleaned him up as an act of taking care of him whilst he ‘rested’ seeing as that what she said he was doing whilst wrestling with denial

@therealjoncook4 @mornxngstr There definitely should’ve been more after they woke up. They should’ve returned to the ridge and the final scene should’ve been them in bed with Jamie telling him what they saw. Or like a time jump to them dying of old age in bed together and him saying it then🥲

I am now inclined to go with the theory that Jamie dies, Claire brings him back and gives him the gift of time travel and we get a montage of them in the future, safe and happy until old age. #Oulander

Up to the episode where Murtagh dies on my rewatch and I will definitely not survive the finale of outlander

The final 20 minutes of the episode will be after they die with them establishing their life in the future with Fanny and it will be the most boring 20 minutes of Outlander because I do not care for the character (nothing against the actress)

Outlander ending theory:

Claire and Jamie die together. Briana, Roger and co. take Fanny through the stones and raise her in the future where she can be safe and have a life Jane never got and they publish Claire’s story so she is ‘alive’ in the future.
