Are black people the only ones who are suppose to live in these conditions?
In South Africa majority(African) live like this(it’s a norm). It is the most unequal society in the world. Why is poverty unacceptable for whites, When it’s the reality for majority of South Africans?
Conditions in Afrikaner squatter camps in South Africa that have grown in number as the govt has implemented policies to divest them of land and employment
@BBCWorld@CoruscaKhaya And it’s complete silence from Zimbabweans. Let them hear the name South African, they start running their mouths. Useless cowards
@Xola_Nqola Xola, Andrea Johnson at IDAC is a huge part of the problem. She’s up to something and General Khan and her husband at crime intelligence are behind it all
Andrea Johnson at IPID and her husband at Crime Intelligence are definitely part of the problem at SAPS, no questions about it now. Going after General Mkhwanazi and General Khumalo is not a mistake, she’s serving a particular side.
[WATCH] SAPS Lt.Gen. Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi says intelligence received suggests there are efforts to have him and Dumisani Khumalo “behind bars” within 48 hours. He says this stems from claims that they secured arrest warrants for IDAC officials. #Newzroom405
Ah, suddenly Zimbabweans and their big mouths have nothing to say on the internet. COWARDS!
And where is the fake African unity to condemn this act of dictatorship?
No one to table this at the AU?
You treat them with kid gloves and pamper them, 20 years from now you’ll face all these children they carry on their backs telling us that South Africa belongs to them and their parents fought for and built this country.
No other sovereign country will tolerate this madness!!!
[WATCH] Undocumented Malawians have now turned Sherwood outside the Durban CBD into an active crime scene, they are attacking police officers as they refuse to go through a deportation process. @_NMabaso
Cat Matlala imali isiyaphela, yabona ne wig installation was done at home. We’ll be witnessing more of this, signs of frustration are beginning to show
Whilst your useless leaders corrupt governments continue looting and not giving you shit. South Africa’s government at this moment is working overtime because South Africans are holding them to account and keeping them on their toes.
Stupid Africans instead chose to unite on a silly goal to hate South Africa ,No Unity in raising issues of bad governance, widespread looting that causes poverty and forced migration. They cheered for their corrupt leaders urging them to punish SA.
Fake Unity
Status quo remains!
WATCH | As South Africa grapples with migration challenges, Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olivier Nduhungirehe, argues that discussions should centre on the underlying causes of migration rather than assigning blame to a single country.
21 children died from consuming expired and poisonous food/ snacks that’s is sold to them by your beloved migrants. Is that not worth preventing from happening again?
Stop forcing these people on poor communities when you will not open your gated communities for them
If removing migrants was the solution, South Africa’s problems would have been solved after the xenophobic attacks of 1998, 2008, 2015, and 2019.
Yet unemployment remained. Poverty remained. Crime remained. Corruption remained. Inequality remained. The evidence tells us that the real solutions lie in governance, economic growth, education, parenting, and accountability.
What I find interesting is that anti-immigrant sentiment often rises around election periods. 🤔
We have seen it before local government elections, before national elections, and during times of political contestation. Is this merely a coincidence, or are ordinary South Africans being encouraged to focus on one another while deeper challenges remain unresolved?
Across the world, when fear and division dominate public discourse, right-wing movements often gain momentum. 🤔
As Africans, we must be wise enough to ask who benefits when poor people are turned against other poor people.
Our history teaches us to be vigilant. The story of Nongqawuse reminds us of the dangers of following narratives without questioning who benefits from them.
Some historians have long debated the influences surrounding that tragic episode. Today, I ask whether we are once again being persuaded to believe that removing one group of people will magically solve complex national problems.
I suspect history may be repeating itself in a different form. Instead of cattle being destroyed, communities are being divided. Instead of questioning power, we are questioning one another. Instead of building, we are breaking.
South Africa’s future will not be secured by xenophobia. It will be secured by jobs, education, strong families, accountable leadership, economic growth, and a renewed commitment to the Rainbow Nation. - Nolubabalo Mcinga
