🚨BREAKING: Senator Josh Hawley says “innocent people don’t plead the Fifth” when describing Dr. Fauci’s testimony.
Here’s the video of Donald Trump pleading the Fifth 400 times during his civil fraud trial.
Why Fauci Pleading the Fifth Was the Smartest Legal Decision Made in That Room
They put an 85-year-old man under subpoena, dumped a thousand pages of his private diary to the press over the weekend, then acted offended when he arrived with lawyers instead of a confession.
Twenty-four words. He said them 106 times. This from a man who briefed Congress more than 200 times across four decades.
The Fifth is not guilt. It is the only correct answer when the chairman has publicly posted his intent to see you prosecuted and the HHS Secretary spends the week promising perjury charges if you speak. They built a trap, then complained he refused to step in it.
Paul’s crowd says the Biden pardon leaves no risk, so no privilege. Read it. The pardon covers conduct through January 2025. It does not cover a sentence spoken in a hearing room in July 2026. Paul said so himself on X.
That was not a legal argument. That was the plan.
Then he had security remove Fauci’s lawyer from the room.
Now he wants a contempt vote next week. Let him. Make a federal court say out loud that a man facing an announced prosecution has no right to silence. That case does not end where Paul thinks it ends.
Fauci made the right call. His lawyers earned every dollar.
New piece drops in the morning on Substack. Bring your outrage.
Before we go, let me share this video showing Trump pleading the fifth (over 400 times) but then everyone in this dog and pony show is completely OK with that. Give me a break.
Vote in the midterms.
🚨DISQUALIFYING: Sen. Ossoff skewers Jay Clayton who is seeking to lead America’s intelligence community after he REFUSED to answer “Who won the 2020 election?”
Ossoff: “Isn’t it humiliating… to have to indulge the president’s delusions?” Clayton is a coward.
Lindsey Graham on Trump:
“He’s a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot. He doesn’t represent my party. He doesn’t represent the values that the men and women who wear the uniform are fighting for”

Sorry American soccer fans, but after listening to this demented pile of orange shit openly brag about his FIFA corruption, I hope Belgium beats the living shit out of Team USA tonight. Trump has singlehandedly turned millions of us into Belgium fans. 🇧🇪
More details: Shortly after Mr. Balogun’s red card, senior Trump administration officials, including Howard Lutnick, the commerce secretary, and Andrew Giuliani, the executive director of the White House task force on the World Cup, engaged lawyers to help the U.S. Soccer Federation try to appeal, despite FIFA’s rules against such appeals
Scott Goodwin, a hedge fund manager and major donor to U.S. Soccer, brought to the attention of Trump officials public accusations that Raphael Claus, the referee, was involved in match fixing in Brazil by giving out irregular red cards. Brazilian authorities and FIFA have found no evidence of wrongdoing by Mr. Claus, but Mr. Trump brought up those allegations in his call with Mr. Infantino
