For 50 yrs Europeans have been programmed by their educational institutions and popular culture to commit civilisational suicide. They are taught the historical evils of white men but not the horrors of Stalin's USSR, Mao's China, the savagery of the Islamic empire. I don't know how this can be rectified in time when there are still so many ignorant of the danger or supporting those who wish to destroy us. This photo right here… this is why.

I grew up in a country where childhood felt FREE.

Not perfect, but FREE.

We hopped on our bikes after breakfast and didn't come home until the streetlights flicked on.

No phones.

Just a bunch of kids pedaling through the neighborhood... cutting through yards, racing down hills, stopping at a friend's house because you saw their bike was in the grass out front and knew they were home so you knocked on the door and got hit with a water-balloon.

That's the start of a life-long friendship.

We went to public pools with a diving board and a high dive (they tore those down)

We played soccer in the front yard with whoever happened to be outside... sometimes they were kids you knew from school, but often times they were kids you only knew because you saw them every summer riding past your house.

It was normal for my parents to assume their kids would ALWAYS come home in one piece and my parents NEVER knew where we were growing up.

That's the America I knew, and the one I grew up in.

My kids are not growing up in that America.

I don't get to just be the parent yelling, "Be home by dinner!" I have to be the parent running risk calculations in my head. Because all of us parents know the public spaces aren't safe anymore.

There's no headline for "OH LOOK AT THAT! Another neighborhood kept their kids indoors today and gave them iPads!"

But go ahead and talk to ANY parent you know… it’s happening.

We all know it's happening.

It's the slow, quiet theft of my kids' childhood... and your kids childhood.

A childhood we ALL once had and one they will never know.

It wrecks me just thinking about it... I hate it for them.

So when I talk about repeat offenders... when I post the screenshots of their 50+ arrests every single day…

Please understand something…

It's because I want my kids, and your kids, to have what we had.

I want the biggest concern at a park to be a skinned knee.

Not a st*bbing.

I want streets where the sound of bicycles and laughter is louder than that of sirens.

This is why I won't shut up about it.

I'm not asking for a perfect world.

I'm asking for the radical idea that childhood should be safe enough to look like this picture again.

And honestly, I just don’t think it’s all that radical of an ask…

🚨 Poul Thorsen, a researcher whose work was used to reassure millions of parents that vaccines do not cause autism, is expected to plead guilty to fraud on Sept. 1.

Thorsen worked on major studies examining vaccines and autism that were cited by the CDC and became part of the scientific foundation used to dismiss concerns about a possible connection.

He was later accused by federal prosecutors of stealing more than $1 million in CDC grant money intended for research, using fabricated documents and fraudulent invoices to divert the funds for his own use.

For years, we’ve been told not to question the science on vaccines and autism. We were told the evidence was overwhelming and the people conducting the research could be trusted.

When the integrity of the people producing that science comes into question, so should our willingness to accept their conclusions without scrutiny.

If you had trusted the settled science of the day, here is how it would have gone.

1890s: you dose the baby with Bayer's new cough syrup, the non-addictive alternative to morphine, marketed for children. It was heroin. They named it after the German for heroic.

1900s: you rub calomel teething powder on your infant's gums. It is a mercury compound, and it leaves a generation with pink disease. Swollen, peeling hands and feet, screaming for months, and some of them died.

1910s: you cook in Crisco, launched by a soap and candle company, because cottonseed oil is modern and lard is what your mother used. The process that made it solid produced trans fat, banned outright a century later.

1920s: you drink Radithor, certified radioactive water, on prescription. Eben Byers took fourteen hundred bottles for his vitality. His jaw was removed in pieces and he was buried in a lead coffin.

1930s: a chemist dissolves a new sulfa drug in diethylene glycol, which is antifreeze. It kills 107 people, mostly children, and only then does America give the FDA power to demand safety testing.

1940s: your doctor lights a Camel in the surgery. More doctors smoke them than any other brand, and the advert runs in the Journal of the American Medical Association, which sold him the page.

1950s: DDT is sprayed over your kitchen, your garden and your children at school. The man who found its insecticidal properties has already been given a Nobel Prize.

1960s: your wife takes thalidomide for morning sickness because it is remarkably safe. More than ten thousand children are born with missing and shortened limbs.

1970s: the country puts down the butter and picks up the margarine, on the instruction of the American Heart Association. The fat everybody switched to was banned in 2015 as unsafe at any level.

1980s: the fat comes out of everything and sugar goes back in to make it edible. Obesity begins a climb it has never come off.

1990s: your father is prescribed OxyContin, because fewer than one per cent get addicted. The company later pleads guilty to criminal misbranding, and the overdose count runs into hundreds of thousands.

2000s: you take Vioxx for your knee. It is pulled in 2004, and the FDA's own safety officer estimates tens of thousands of excess heart attacks.

Not one of those was fringe. Every one had a professional body, a literature and a man in a white coat standing behind it.

Nobody who followed that advice was stupid. They were obedient, to the most qualified people available.

Settled is a word about money. It means the questions stopped being funded, so they stopped being asked.

So which of today's instructions will your grandchildren read out in disbelief.

The oil washed in hexane and built into every cell you own. The statin that blocks the pathway making your hormones, to prevent one heart attack per hundred people. The injection where a third of the loss is muscle. The infant formula built out of vegetable oil.

All settled. None of it funded to be otherwise.

No modern political event will make sense until you understand the two reasons why a man will hate you.

He will hate you because you harm him, which is easy to understand.

No, that's not backwards. That is what you must understand.

Here's how it works.

Once upon a time, a man was given an ultimatum. He had to dissociate himself from me, or his long-term benefactor would withdraw all support.

Some people deliberate from principle, while others examine their bread to determine with side it is buttered on. I try not to judge people too harshly if they don't have much butter.

But, suffice to say, he followed his benefactor's commands, despite having nothing in particular against me.

But he then began to dislike me, and make childish comments behind my back. This was utterly predictable if you understand how humans work.

See, having acted against me, he needed to feel that his actions were just.

A man who has harmed you needs you to deserve it, so that he can still feel good about himself. And he will find excuses to think that, because humans are good at telling stories.

Welfare takers don't hate you even though your taxes keep them alive. They hate you because your taxes keep them alive.

The criminal underclass doesn't rob you because they hate you. They hate you because they rob you.

The teeming brown hordes of the third world don't hate you because of history. They hate you because they want to ruin your country and take all your stuff.

Bernie Sanders doesn't try to tax away everything you have because he hates you. He hates you because he wants to tax away everything you have.

It's important to understand this difference.

If a man hates you because you have hurt him, you can appease him. You can apologize, you can make amends, and he can forgive you if he chooses to.

Because forgiving you doesn't violate his self-image.

But if a man hates you because he has hurt you, then you can never appease him. The more you are kind to him, the more you try to placate him, the more sympathy and understanding and gifts you provide, the more he will find reasons to hate you.

Because if you are good, then he is bad. So you can never be good in his eyes.

This is why no amount of sympathy is ever enough. This is why reparations for fictional injuries are a demand that never ceases.

This is why communists want to kill you, no matter how much you benefit them. And the more you do for them, the more they will hate you and want to kill you.

You must never turn the other cheek unless you struck first. You must never apologize unless you have actually done wrong.

You must never pay the Dane-geld, or you will never be rid of the Dane.

You have to fight them. You have no choice.

Because they do not hate for your sins. They hate you for theirs.

And they will continue to hate you until you punish them. Only when they have been punished do they stop needing to tell stories about how you really deserved what they did.

Mercy is for after you take vengeance, not before.

One possible explanation as to why the left has no theory of mind of the right comes from Jonathan Haidt’s “The Righteous Mind” (2012).

He shows that moral judgments come from instinct and are then rationalized.

The six moral foundations are care, fairness, loyalty, authority, sanctity, and liberty.

Leftists build their moral world on care and fairness, whereas the right draws on all 6 almost equally.

This implies that the right’s moral range generally allows them to understand the left, whereas the left tend to be unable to comprehend moral worldviews based on loyalty, authority, sanctity, and liberty.

The left is constantly arguing with only a third of the moral vocabulary the right is actually using.

2020s: seed oils protect your heart, red meat is a carcinogen, and the answer to a metabolic disease is a weekly injection.

⚡️Trump is treating the United States like an empire that finally realized its tribute system had been running in reverse.

For decades, America supplied the reserve currency, the deepest capital markets, the military umbrella, the consumer of last resort, the payment rails, the technology stack, and the geopolitical backstop.

Other countries built national models around access to that architecture. Trump’s instinct is that Washington confused leadership with generosity and allowed dependency to accumulate abroad without extracting enough in return.

That instinct is directionally right.

The United States possesses forms of leverage that almost no other country can replicate at the same scale. Access to American demand matters. Access to dollars matters. Access to Treasury liquidity matters. Access to U.S. technology matters. Access to American security guarantees matters. A foreign government that depends on several of those at once is already inside an asymmetrical relationship.

Trump sees the asymmetry and wants it monetized.

That is the real doctrine beneath the Switzerland remark.

He wants every dependency converted into bargaining power. Trade surplus? Pay. Security dependence? Pay. Dollar access? Align. Technology access? Align. Strategic vulnerability? Concede. Domestic market access becomes a toll road through which the rest of the world must pass.

That can work for a while because the American position is still enormous.

The deeper danger is temporal.

An empire can extract rents from dependence only while dependence remains cheaper than escape.

Every tariff, sanction, export control, financial threat, and market-access threat teaches the target the same lesson: build an alternative before the next confrontation.

That is the hidden cost of coercive leverage. Using power reveals where the power lives.

Once revealed, everyone begins routing around it.

So Trump is spending accumulated geopolitical capital in order to buy time for national reconstruction. That is the real bet. Use market access aggressively now, force concessions now, redirect production now, rebuild industrial capacity now, harden supply chains now, then hope the American core becomes stronger before the external world becomes less dependent.

That is a race against adaptation.

China understands it.

Europe understands it.

The Gulf understands it.

India understands it.

Switzerland understands it.

Every serious state now understands that economic interdependence can be weaponized.

The age of innocent globalization is over.

The country that controls the chokepoint controls the negotiation.

Trump’s deepest instinct is imperial in the old sense of the word. He thinks sovereignty means being able to impose terms because others need access to what you control.

And right now, America still controls more chokepoints than anyone else.

The question is whether he uses that inheritance to rebuild the foundation of American power, or burns through the inheritance faster than the world can be forced to yield.

That is the entire game.
