I think there is a MASSIVE disconnect between the few VIDEO content creators left and the rest of the Cardano community, so let me shed some light on the issue.

My life fell apart in the last year (largely because I over-invested my time creating Cardano content in the last 5 years). Video content creators (like developers, programmers, business managers, and other professions that drive this industry forward) the job requires a substantial amount of skill. The difference is that it’s the only high-skilled role that isn’t compensated in a traditionally full-time capacity.

So what happens when people can’t pay the bills? Life at home gets filled with stress, desperation for survival increases and families fall apart. That’s what happened to me. And it’s MUCH more of a reality for others than any of you think it is.

Cardano-dedicated content creation is a BAD investment and everybody knows it. Cardano-dedicated content creators are becoming a thing of the past and the trend WILL continue unless something is done to change it.

If you’re ok with a future WITHOUT any Cardano-dedicated creators at all and the biggest creators only talk about Cardano as a passing mention with hardly any dedicated research, that’s the only valid reason to vote the influencer proposal down. (I know for a fact that a few major crypto creators used to watch MY videos as research for their own content). Cardano can’t be competitive if there isn’t any dedicated and passionate community members that actually know what the hell they’re talking about spreading that information ON VIDEO. The tech WILL NOT speak for itself, it must be displayed and demonstrated. The best product in the world can fail with nobody around to spread the word.

Also, the proposal is not that expensive AT ALL. It’s a drop in the bucket and it barely keeps the lights on for the recipients. In the risk-reward analysis, this should be a no brainer. Stop being petty and difficult, you’re almost literally starving important people OUT of the Cardano ecosystem. This proposal deserves an upvote.
