This says everything you need to know about the future and ambition of this football club. This is nothing short of an absolute fucking disgrace. Whoever sanctions this needs hounding out.
Nottingham Forest are advancing in talks with Everton for Harrison Armstrong. Deal worth £40m plus clauses progressing. No player agreement on the transfer as it stands with the 19 year-old opting to play today at Bournemouth 🔵
Ndiaye & Armstrong…could be the final straw for me. Struggled to relate to this football club for years, but this could be the thing that really pushes me. The lack of ambition is astounding.
Woke up still furious. Miles off it last night, big changes needed next weekend. Respect to Garner for doing a job out of position, only one for me who walks away with any credit.
So many things wrong there. So many fucking brain dead decisions. Worst one is the incessant need to play out from back only to launch it 3 passes later. Fucking unbelievable.
Today marks one year since the sad passing of one of our most popular strikers, Kevin Campbell – an incredible man and the Blues' first black captain.
Always in our hearts, Super Kev. 💙
@Sulli7@themichaelowen So Chris, if this happens in the Everton penalty area and a United player goes down the same as Young, are you honestly suggesting you’d be okay with the decision?
Some good results through December but when we’re not camped behind the ball & have to play to get a result, we’re incapable. Squad isn’t great, it’s actually really poor, but 3 wins from 18? Relying heavily on there being three worser teams again.
@Dan_White2022@talkSPORT They can change rules no question there. But can they punish clubs for things if rules didn’t exist at that time? I’m not so sure. No doubt they will change the rule on interest free loans from shareholders going forward. But easily converted to equity to avoid PSR breach.
The Premier League teams with chunky shareholder loans can simply convert to equity - won't be a major issue for most and it is unlikely to be retrospectively applied. Those loans are basically equity anyway.
@warrenmcfc@talkSPORT The whole thing is completely flawed mate. It encourages circumvention. The rules they’re enforcing are not legal & dodgy to say the least. I can’t see anything coming of the 115 charges other than a potential fine.
@warrenmcfc@talkSPORT Well there are no rules at present hence why those clubs have probably done it. I would imagine if the rules do change, those clubs would convert the loans to equity. But it’s not even known if the PL will put a rule like this in place.
@theesk@Lawton_Times I’m not sure they can retrospectively punish us if the rules were not in place at the time? I could be wrong. Can these loans not just be converted to equity anyway as a way of removing it from future PSR calculations?
Local lad who came through your academy, helped keep you up under Lampard, wanted out because the club was a shambles on & off the pitch & who you then sold for 40M.
The Peoples club!
