@BengalsTalkSI ESPN and other national pundits are infatuated with getting Burrow out of Cincy. Just like they like to talk about the Jets who haven’t been relevant in 30 years.
@JoeGoodberry You can understand the clunkers against MN and DEN after Burrow gets hurt. The last 4 losses had been more about coaching than personnel. Losing to Jets was inexcusable and the last 2 weeks the offense has been awful for the majority of the game. That’s in Zac.
@Andrew_Russell7 Cleveland’s defense is elite. They will always be in games because it will be rare when they give up more than 17 points. Only happened in Baltimore because of turnovers and special teams.
@JoeGoodberry Honestly, I think the answer is on the other side of the ball. Who can we bring in to make sure the defense keeps teams from scoring more than 20 points a game on us. With Burrow, we could afford to get in some shootouts but we are going to have to win many 21-17, 24-21 games.
@KelseyLConway Don’t really see it that way. If Trey performs as he did last 2 years, he gets tagged next year at 36M guaranteed which is what he wanted all along.
@CincyJungle Lots of reasons for this guy to sign. Misses money this year. Longer runway to next contract assuming he’s any good. Probably falls out of first round next year so less overall money.
@JamesRapien No way you put Hendrickson in the same category as TJ Watt. Watt is all over the field for everything. Hendrickson does one thing very well and is mediocre outside of that.
@BengalsTalkSI@JamesRapien Honestly, the Bengals have handled this well. These comments could have been worded better. Ultimately, after the draft and they settle on roster this will probably get worked out.
