Not really. The new odds produce a higher average pick value for teams that end up in the 9-16 range. Jazz are more likely to land in that range than below it. Cavs/Wolves won't have the same restrictions. Say the Jazz make the play-in and would have the 14th spot... the average pick value is 13.73 under the old system and 9 under the new system. Without factoring in the Cle/Minny odds.
Grizz didn't get screwed here. Most likely in a better spot with the picks they traded for.

@DBaneBurna This is what was so important about getting 3 instead of 4. This is a great draft, but mainly those 3… (AJ, DP, Booz) Wilson is interesting, but those three are just a tier above, and getting 3 means we’re guaranteed one of them no matter the order 1/2 go.
