@Cxalddhrest@kgfch2waiting@Brostradam97554@DoesItPlay1@PlayStation I mean the best line of defense for not having your account stolen is don't post your user name online especially with your email. PS's security isn't the issue, PS can't fix stupid. A hacker cannot hack your account if they don't know it
@Cxalddhrest@kgfch2waiting@Brostradam97554@DoesItPlay1@PlayStation You could file a police report about your ID, and submit all of that information to Sony and easily get your account back. But it would be such a rare situation that someone would steal your id and know your PS account information
@cubanpetemma@DoesItPlay1@PlayStation Won't exist, PlayStation will eventually be an app on your tv... Where are you putting your discs then? What if they continue selling discs and by 2030 physical disc sales drop to 0.05%. Do they pull the plug right away? Would you have preferred no warning like xbox is doing
@cubanpetemma@DoesItPlay1@PlayStation How many years do you keep doing this before saying people don't really want this. Sony has been giving us all the data, and still people choose digital, if you didn't see this day coming you are an idiot. The future is digital, it just is. Eventually a PlayStation home console
@JezCorden This is sort of where not being the market leader plays to xbox's advantage. They can make a lot of drastic changes and not get much push back, maybe even pick up new users. When you have been so high, it becomes increasingly difficult to go higher and a lot easier to go down
@JezCorden Sony will definitely offer an external disc drive for PS6. Sony's entire business model relies on a large install base to buy in immediately. Not having an optional disc drive is like saying your PS4 library isn't compatible, & PS has already had issues moving people from 4 to 5
@JezCorden@angryoatmeal28@MCFixer Ya I would imagine they start rolling out this feature out this November when they fully announce Helix at the 25th anniversary. But this pretty much guarantees an always online requirement or else how would it remove your license when someone else uses your disc?
@MCFixer@JezCorden Doing discs means you will need to continue including one with future consoles. I think both companies want to get everyone off discs ASAP. It's not as if people with flock to Xbox for one final gen of discs. Remember the end of next gen will be 2034
@IGN Why aren't you mentioning that Xbox is doing the same? At least PlayStation is warning us.. Xbox will probably wait till launch

@mnswingtrader@SixersOctavian Ya, this would mean you would need an always online connection, or else you could just install every game you own, get the digital license, go offline and sell all your games and continue playing them forever offline
@beef198819@MentalHealthVT@SixersOctavian But you do understand that this means Xbox will be always online, or else how would it remove your license if someone else uses that disc.
@beef198819@MentalHealthVT@SixersOctavian Jez already reported that Helix won't have a disc drive, this is something you would have to do with your Xbox one or seriesX.
