This is an interesting thread, but not for the intended reason. It tries to convey that rejoining a small part of the EU is both a ‘good thing’, which it obviously is, albeit as a mere ‘associate’ member & on terms the EU decides. But, pathetically & for obvious reasons, it… 1/2
Yesterday I got arrested whilst filming a @JustStop_Oil supporter holding a banner on the pavement near the coronation route. I'm a filmmaker and had my @BECTU press accreditation visible around my neck.
Police deemed this to be "conspiracy to commit a public nuisance".
@JohnJCrace It's at the stage where you just swap the name of the accused for the accuser.
Then it all makes much more sense, generally.

Thanks to @garylineker & @IanWright0, somebody is currently trying to explain to Tory donor, Boris Johnson loan facilitator & Boris Johnson-nominated chairman of the BBC, Richard Sharp, what ‘integrity’, ‘honesty’ & ‘solidarity’ are.
This absolutely nails the issue! Watch and share. Pure populist playbook: pick on a minority group and get voters angry in the desperate hope this will buy votes at the next election! And absolutely no question: it breaches every international law on human rights.
Hey @BorisJohnson, thought I’d do a survey to help you read the room.
A simple question:

Please retweet once you answer so that we can get as many responses as possible
Rishi Sunak says "NI has this very special position where it has access to the UK & EU markets, which makes it an incredibly attractive place to invest for businesses"
Just imagine how attractive Scotland, England & Wales would be for investment if they had the same access. 🤔
I really can't ridicule the incompetence of the UK government over post-Brexit trade enough
Remember the phantom Seabourne Ferries debacle?
Well, the latest example is a tale of utter incompetence, phantom shipping companies and the Great UK Tomato Shortage of 2023 🧵
Hey, @Jacob_Rees_Mogg, before you leave, could you publish that list of Brexit benefits you promised the British people time and time again?
It doesn't appear to have been published just yet.
