I was blessed to be raised in family where we never lacked anything. We was well educated, well catered for and all I had to do was focus on my dream of being an accountant, perform well and for every great performance, I realised that I was a #OneStepCloser to my dreams.

MARRIAGE SERIES: DEALING WITH WEAKNESS IN A SPOUSE
2 Corinthians 12:10 (NKJV): โTherefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christโs sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.โ
God reveals to you the strength of your spouse to the degree that you are able to withstand their weakness.
Some spouses never truly come to know the strengths in their partners because they are too fixated on their weaknesses. They define them by what they struggle with, instead of discerning what God has placed within them.
By our theme scripture, God prompts us to look beyond weakness and understand that, many times, the very place of weakness is also the place where strength lies. This is because we are often tried in the areas where God has placed some of our greatest strengths.
For example, a spouse who has faced repeated financial struggles may not be weak with money in the way you assume. It may be that the enemy is fighting them in the very area where God has ordained them to build great wealth. A spouse who has struggled with anger may carry a strong sense of justice, passion, and conviction. When refined by love, patience, and the wisdom of God, that passion can become righteous zeal and strength for the family.
This means that if your spouse is struggling in a specific area, you must learn to change your perspective. Understand that the very place of trial may also be the place where great strength is hidden. If they are helped to rise above that struggle, they may accomplish great things in your family and beyond it.
For this reason, it is important to impute righteousness on your spouse. Learn to speak the things that are not as though they are. Speak strength where you have seen weakness. Speak greatness where you have seen struggle. By doing this, you call out what God has placed in their spirit, fortify them in what they are becoming, and help them overcome. Hallelujah!

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for the gift of my spouse. I see them through Your eyes and Your truth. I have the grace to discern the strengths hidden beneath their struggles and the wisdom to speak life over them. You help me to cover them in love, and to participate in who they must become. In Jesusโ Name, Amen.
DISCERNMENT OF SPIRITS: PEACE OVER FEAR
Job 4:13-19 (NKJV): โIn disquieting thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones shake. Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair on my body stood up. It stood still, but I could not discern its appearance. A form was before my eyes; there was silence; then I heard a voice saying: โCan a mortal be more righteous than God? Can a man be more pure than his Maker? If He puts no trust in His servants, if He charges His angels with error, how much more those who dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed before a moth?โโ
One of the most reliable ways to discern whether a vision or dream originates from God or from the enemy is to observe how the speaking spirit responds to your fear.
Throughout Scripture, whenever a divine encounter overwhelms a person with fear, Godโs immediate response is to comfort them.
Consider the prophet Daniel. In Daniel 10, he received a vision so breathtakingly powerful that it drained him of all physical strength. Yet, how did the angel of the Lord respond? He immediately addressed Daniel's terror, saying, โDo not be afraid, Daniel...โ (Daniel 10:12).
We see this identical pattern when the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary. Her initial reaction was one of troubling uncertainty, and the angel instantly reassured her: โDo not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with Godโ (Luke 1:30).
This divine tenderness stands in plain contrast to the experience of Eliphaz in the Book of Job. When a spirit visited Eliphaz in the night, the vision shook him to his very core, leaving his bones trembling. Yet, the entity addressing him showed no regard for his terror. Instead of offering comfort, it leveraged his vulnerability to intimidate him and deliver an oracle of accusation.
Any spirit that exploits your terror to establish its dominance does not reflect the nature of God.
Scripture reminds us that "God is love, and perfect love drives out fear" (1 John 4:18).
If a spirit speaks to you, whether in a dream, a vision, or an impression on your heart, and fails to minister the peace, assurance, and comfort of the Father, it requires careful discernment.
While God absolutely corrects, instructs, and warns His children, He never uses paralyzing fear as His seal of authenticity. Trust the peace that surpasses understanding.
