At the tail end of the offseason, DePaul added Cowan Olinger to the staff as the team’s video coordinator.

As Olinger spent time under him both at Purdue and Miami-Ohio, I asked associate head coach Jack Owens what it’s been working with Olinger this season:

“It's great. He's a hard worker. First of all, Cowan is very intelligent. He's detailed, he does a lot of our film. He's also overseen some of our academic stuff that we have going on here on the coaching staff. He's a hard worker. I knew when we got him that he would bring value to our staff and to the university. But first and foremost, he's a hard worker. He's a great guy. He’s going to do everything in his power to help us win, put us in position to win. He and John [McCausland] do a great job with a lot of the behind the scenes stuff that we have going on here. But yeah, Cowan is a hard worker.”
