You know why I am so proud of them?
Because they are great actors.
As a couple who never use any rude words or pronouns with each other it can be hard sometimes when acting getting into the character because your body and mind might subconsciously show resistance. But they're both professionals who know how to do it. And those who know their irl dynamic will appreciate today's TheeJuno scene even more.

Because remember during their CIL concert skit rehearsals Zee absolutely refused to use any vulgars words on NuNew to the point they had to remove them all. But in the scene they absolutely gave their best to the scene and to the characters.

Okay, hear me out! I’m convinced Thee and Juno are already together! That’s why Thee says at the beginning, ‘This has nothing to do with what we have.’

My theory is that Thee is struggling with substance misuse, and Juno is desperately trying to help him. The way Thee says, “I am the worst,” feels very much like someone who knows they’ve hurt the person they love but is trapped in a cycle of self-destructive behaviour they can’t seem to break.
And that’s exactly why Juno says at the end, ‘Just go and die then. If that’s the best you can do, then go rot in whatever hell you want.’

To me, that isn’t cruelty or bitchiness. It’s the reaction of someone who has reached their breaking point after trying so hard to save someone they love. In NuNew’s performance, you can see the heartbreak, helplessness, and overwhelming disappointment. Juno isn’t speaking out of hatred, he’s speaking from a place of deep pain. And honestly, that’s why the scene feels devastating.
