TEMPLARS is pleased to announce that its Partner, Olufemi (“Femi”) Oyewole, was this morning sworn in as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) at a formal ceremony held at the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Abuja. The SAN rank is the Nigerian equivalent of the English King’s Counsel. According to the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC), the rank of SAN is “awarded as a mark of excellence to members of the legal profession who have distinguished themselves as advocates and academics.” Femi is widely recognised as one of Nigeria’s leading commercial litigators, with a strong track record in the resolution of high-value and complex commercial disputes. He becomes the fourth TEMPLARS Partner to be elevated to the rank of SAN, joining Adewale Atake, SAN (2018), Godwin Omoaka, SAN ( 2019), Inam Wilson, SAN (2022). Congratulations to Femi on this well-deserved professional milestone.
