Forgiveness is a Biblical command...Reconciliation is something that happens when the offending party recognizes their guilt and repents. You don't reconcile with people celebrating your death.

So for those on the right tripping over themselves to make nice with those downplaying, or outright celebrating Charlie's death, understand that we see you for what you are. Cowards.

You're not "standing in unity," you're not "living out your Christian faith" you are manipulating scripture to avoid conflict.

The same chapter in Romans that commands us to NOT return evil for evil also calls us to ABHOR evil.

We are to OVERCOME evil with GOOD, not make it more comfortable so you can avoid discomfort at all costs.

My heart is deeply saddened by the loss of one of our nation’s heroes, Charlie Kirk.

I had the privilege of sharing a platform with Charlie at a men’s event. I found him to be a kind and tender man, yet wise and bold in his stand against evil.

Please, everyone pray for his wife Erika, their children, and for the Turning Point USA organization.

I believe with all my heart Charlie has heard the words from Jesus himself: “Well done.”

May his life and his family’s sacrifice embolden the rest of us not to shrink back from speaking the truth of God’s Word.
