Me: on really humid days like today my hair gives me like fake bangs and i feel like I look like a grown up version of the girl from the original Jurassic Park

Husband: wow yea honestly that is incredibly accurate

This week I have asked two different employees at two different food & beverage establishments about the flavor/ingredients in signature drinks with nondescript names [think Scarlett sunshine] and both times been met with “I don’t know I’ve never had it”

… but you work here!

Calling the vet at a respectable 8:07 (they open at 8) to pretend like you’re a chill pet owner who hasn’t been watching the clock since 5am…

This morning my dog had something stuck to his paw so I was trying to clean it off with a tissue when I was done he started licking my toes like we were just taking turns cleaning each others tootsies.

Me to hubs: How do you get any work done with the pup being so cute and needing attention?
Hubs: Oh it’s 10am just put on Dateline
Me: … ok … *puts on dateline*
Dog: *straight to sleep*

@katlikespie Age of polish and dry time between coats can both be factors. If the polish isn’t able to fully dry or if it’s a little old it can stay a little gummy which is my guess if it peeled off in one piece.

@UFCJCLibrarian I read in Seventeen that rinsing conditioner out of your hair with cold water was healthier for your hair and I still do it 20 years later and have never bothered to fact check it 🤷🏼‍♀️
