@EqualityCouple @fromsarahlex They do this to short people also. It's not much of a problem as it used to be for me, but it was really bad when I was younger. I also look very young for my age so the lack of respect I receive is super frustrating. Why can't we treat everyone with the same amount of respect?

@Kimber091523 @DavidGeurin If Social Studies is taught the correct way, you can apply and experiment too. Also, when reading novels, we can have serious discussions that help them think outside the box.

@cwilcoxKSU I teach 5th grade, and they haven't taken notes before this year. I set up questions they must answer when they do their research. That way their notes are vertical to the material I want them to learn.
