@Furymaker_ Thank you! Really appreciate that - means a lot coming from someone doing great work themselves.
Keep going, and keep on raising the bar with each one.
Ashley Phillips profile 📊
At 20 years old, he already has serious senior exposure, and it shows.
Elite aerial win %, strong clearance volume and consistent box defending define the current profile. He looks comfortable dealing with direct play and sustained pressure against senior opposition.
Right now, the data leans towards a traditional defensive CB. But the interesting part? The passing numbers.
His accuracy and involvement suggest technical security that hasn’t yet been fully stretched in a more front-footed, possession-dominant system. I’d love to see him in a higher line, asked to break lines more often and defend bigger spaces.
If that pass accuracy holds under increased responsibility, his ceiling shifts considerably.
For a 20-year-old centre-back, the foundation is strong. The next step is context.

Spent some time pulling together a full profile on Alfie Devine, using a framework I’ve been refining to move beyond isolated stats and single visuals.
Rather than just asking how productive is he?, this looks at how he plays:
• style clustering vs peers
• role-fit alignment
• game-model compatibility
• attacking vs connective influence
• defensive contribution in context
The aim is to support scouting decisions with structure and clarity, not replace the eye test.
From the data, Devine profiles as an attack-minded central midfielder, most effective when operating close to goal. His influence comes from timing, movement and end-product rather than controlling possession or dictating tempo from deep.
He shows consistent final-third impact, arriving late into advanced areas to contribute shots, chances and goals. Defensive work is engaged and functional, but his value is clearly highest when given licence to attack rather than anchor structure.
Interestingly, it’s also a profile that Tottenham Hotspur have arguably missed at times this season, a midfielder comfortable between the lines, offering goal threat from central areas and adding variety against compact blocks.
Still refining this approach, but pleased with how these added layers help build a more complete picture of role, fit and usage rather than just output.
Always open to feedback.
