Sanjay Jaju Takes Charge as Telangana Chief Secretary

Senior IAS officer Sanjay Jaju has taken charge as Chief Secretary to the Government of Telangana.

He assumed office on Tuesday at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat.

Jaju, a 1992-batch officer, succeeds K. Ramakrishna Rao, who retired from service on the same day.

The state government had issued orders on June 26 appointing Jaju to the top bureaucratic post.

Senior officials, including Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and department heads, were present on the occasion. They congratulated Jaju and also bid farewell to the outgoing Chief Secretary.
