In 10 years of running care homes, I have yet to meet a resident with dementia who wasn't addicted to sugar.

A few years ago, we used to leave sugar packets on the tables.

Some residents would pour five of them into a single coffee.

If there were no dessert, they'd tear open the packets and eat the sugar on its own.

That's why we removed the sugar from the tables and asked families to take leftover treats home.

I've seen a lot of people fear dementia, but they rarely think twice about the diet that could contribute to it.

After years of watching the two together, I'm convinced they're related.

This weekend, I encourage you to look in your family's kitchen, and remove the sugary treats from there.

Robert Kennedy Jr. has done more as HHS Secretary than any HHS Secretary in my lifetime. He is cleaning up the food supply. I think you missed the plot.
Then again, that’s becoming a pattern.

I graduated from West Point.
I went through Army flight school.
I learned to fly the AH-64 Apache.
I deployed to combat and flew 55 combat missions over Baghdad.

Nobody handed me a cockpit because of my skin color.

Nobody lowered the standards for me.

Nobody looked at me and said, “Let’s check a diversity box.”

That’s what people like you don’t seem to understand.

Suggesting that Black pilots, Black engineers, Black doctors, or Black leaders need special preferences to succeed is not empowering, it’s insulting.

I didn’t want a different standard.
I wanted the same standard.

And when you’re flying into combat, the American people don’t care what race the pilot is.

They care whether the pilot is qualified.

Merit isn’t racist.
Excellence isn’t discriminatory.

And reducing every achievement to skin color says far more about your worldview than it does about mine.

There are no double-blind, placebo-based randomized controlled trials for the safety of childhood vaccines. They don't exist because the people responsible for them decided not to do them.

I know this because in 2017 @RobertKennedyJr and I sat down at the NIH with Francis Collins and Tony Fauci and asked them. We said, we can't find a single placebo-based safety trial for any vaccine on the childhood schedule. Are you doing them, or are we just not seeing them?

They told us they don't do those trials because they believe it is unethical to withhold what they consider a beneficial product from a control group. That is the logic. The faith that the product is so valuable that studying it rigorously would be unfair to the people in the trial not getting it. So they never study it.

Every vaccine given to every child in America rests on an assumption of safety and nothing more.
