This is the interview Donald Trump didn’t want you to see.
His FCC refused to air my interview with Stephen Colbert.
Trump is worried we’re about to flip Texas.
OK, serious question #Seahawks fans-
What are you doing tomorrow morning at 8?
If your answer is anything other than listening @933KJR when Hawks head coach Mike MacDonald joins @ChuckPowellKJR & @BuckyJacobsen then you’re doing it wrong!

The things that have happened to UW football in past five years or so is truly remarkable:
1. Three different head coaches.
2. Three different athletic directors.
3. National championship run.
4. DeBoer leaves days after national championship loss to replace Nick Saban at Alabama.
5. Transfer portal exodus.
6. Coach that job hops, hops to UW.
7. Same coach rebuilds around young QB who follows him from Arizona.
8. Team gets to 9 wins in year two with expectation of potential CFP run led by potential Heisman candidate in year 3.
9. QB signs deal and is set to return.
10. QB blindsides school and announces transfer portal entry in the middle of a memorial for a student athlete who passed away.
11. School threatens legal action.
I forgot the part about moving to the Big Ten.
Any other program in the country have to deal with this type of rollercoaster?
- 7th player ever with 60 homers in a season
- Most homers ever by a catcher
- Most homers by a Mariner
- Most homers by a switch-hitter
Cal Raleigh’s 60th home run of the season is No. 8 on our 2025 Plays of the Year countdown.

Had to put a few thoughts down...
It's going to be hard for me to sleep tonight. Been reflecting all day on this and it's overwhelming to think that this could be the final night that we ever spend as Mariner fans without knowing what it's like to be going to the World Series. Almost 50 years of waiting could be over by this time tomorrow.
Only team to never play in the World Series.
That label has stuck with us our entire lives and its really a part of our DNA as baseball fans. Who we are. Always on the outside looking in. Watching somebody else accomplish the things that we've been dreaming about. The butt of jokes. Always looking up and seeing that list of World Series appearances and seeing a big fat ZERO next to our team. Sitting here tonight, thinking about the idea that all of that could change tomorrow night is stirring up all kinds of emotions that are unlike any other sporting event I've ever been a part of.
I've been nervous as hell before games. But this is different. This is about the biggest scar suddenly going away and replacing it with the biggest dream we've ever dreamed. I don't think this would just be a sporting event. I think it would be one of the biggest accomplishments in this cities history. And to me, it's all because of the wait. It's all because of what we had to go through to get here.
One of my favorite things that we've ever done on KJR is the Friday before Super Bowl 48 and the Friday before Michigan played Washington for the national championship was taking calls from people telling us who they wanted the Seahawks and Huskies to win the title for. People calling up crying, talking about their parents, brothers and sisters, kids, aunts and uncles, coworkers and friends.
I wish we could be on the air tonight to do that segment and hear everybody say who they want to win this for tomorrow. I know everybody has somebody. I have my dad who passed away three years ago and the Mariners that fall immediately ended the playoff drought and the next season the Huskies played for the national championship and here we are at the doorstep of a World Series. I wish so badly that he was here to be part of this with me. I wish everybody who dreamed about this could be here to see this.
There's nothing more I want than for the fellas to wrap this up tomorrow night. I don't know about you but the last game feels like the biggest most challenging step yet and I desperately hope they can take it. The franchise deserves it. Players deserve it and above anything else, we deserve it. We've been waiting a long damn time for this and man what a beautiful sight it would be to see our patience get rewarded tomorow in Toronto.
I want this so badly for us. I know you do too. If any players happen to see this, kick their ass for us tomorrow night guys. And go be heroes.
Go Mariners.

"The Mariners are going to play for the American League Championship. I don't believe it. It just continues. MY OH MY!"
