Here's how the girls looked at the end of the day. Thank you and good night. 😘

[Pope Leo XIV @Pontifex]

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

How to art and politics relate to each other? Amory Crane discusses how art is an expression of power.

[Lemon Ginger Learns to Paint @lemongingerade]

This painting is particularly poignant to me because it marks that time of day in the season of life when everyone (even the cat) waits for daddy to come home from work.

I dedicate this to all the dads who stick their necks out, who take risks - even risk their lives- everyday to provide a safe home for their family and a sweet childhood for their babies. In return, we will always be waiting at the door with excitement for your return at the end of the day.

Back to the easel today.

Saturday Studio Update :)

[Beth Wells @BethWellsArt]

@lemongingerade So, I've had it sitting with my paint forever and have never used it. I bought it on a whim. I'm mixing it with the crimson so it pulls it more pink (the mouth is just a mixture of those two), and bridges the warms to the cools. It's really powerful though!

The Painted World.
You can buy this original oil painting now on my online store, along with three other newly uploaded works. Link is in my bio ^_^

Do modern artists have the ability to create ceremonial works that are tasteful and imaginative? Beth Wells analyses the war memorial of Rayner Hoff. Grab your copy today, link in comments.

@lemongingerade Awe, he's remember that forever

Incredible work, please consider purchasing the book too! Frankenstein is an essential work to understand the nature of good and evil, and it's wonderful to see artists being patronised too.

[SI SMITH @Si_SmithArt]

It was my pleasure to do the illustrations for this edition of Frankenstein published by @OldSovPub . Here are some of the woodblocks that were used to create the prints.

[Colombe @Columba_1]

I am now at the end of my walk across Spain. Barcelona for some R&R tomorrow. If you are the reading type and you're feeling liquid, please consider purchasing my little book of poems. Bless you.
