(Sano anan) For many days, we discussed whether to continue the group & what to do about the band, but we couldn’t find any answers. But I didn’t want to be a group that ends here, & the faces of the fans who supported us until now immediately came to mind—

💚 Masakado-kun—whoever I say it to won’t believe it, but he’s really the moodmaker. He really suddenly starts to make the mood. No matter how early the morning or how late the night, 💙 always makes the atmosphere positive, so I feel like the 4 of us are able to come together.

Sano: I get caught up in teasing Seiya-kun, but seriously, ❤️’s variety activities are amazing. Wherever he goes, whoever he’s faced with, he delivers crisp tsukkomis while staying true to himself; that’s talent. From now on too, I want him to keep spreading Ae’s name that way.

Sano: ...everyone got excited for me [about the asadora role]. After that, when it was just me and Seiya-kun, in a more serious tone, he told me, “[I’m] counting on you for next year’s Ae! group,” so I resolved to do my best on behalf of the group.

Sano: I’m really thankful to the fans. There’s probably no other group that has to be this thankful to its fans; that’s how much we’ve worried them and been supported by them...

Sano: We may not be the kind of sparkly idols who can encourage everyone at all times. But I want to be the kind of idols [fans] can feel close to and say, “Let’s do our best together!” from now on exactly because we put all of our history and weaknesses out there. (anan)

and I thought that letting it end here was definitely not right. So I told Seiya-kun too, “I want to continue the group. At least let’s do concerts.” I thought that if we met the fans, surely [he/we] would start to be able to see something.

❤️ I think this MV contains a PRIDE that we can show because of who we are now. “Determination,” I guess.

💜 “Pride” [in Japanese]. Ae group’s pride.

💙 With my current feelings, it might be “a strong medicine/poison.” Fans must be excited to see what happens if you feed it to people who don’t already know Ae group.

Kojiken: It’s really a song we’ve treasured since our junior days, so it’s a song that established the group called Ae group. Through our unrefined performance, I think something sublime comes out of this song.
