Twenty thousand forces led by #Dazmach Abara Kasa of #Xe’zega defeated the powerful Italian army in the battle of #Walta-Medhanit(Deqi Sh’hay-Anseba) on #March the 15th of #1892. The Italian army was led by Captain Bettini, who #died in the battle.
After the death of their leader, the people of Adi-tekeliezan agreed to join forces with Dazmach Abera Kasa of Xe’azega & fought against the Italian army in the battle of Walta-Medhanit(Anseba) in 1892. #Fitewrari Aray from Adi-tekeliezan killed the Italian Captain, Bettini.

In September 1889, Dazmach Mesfin fought the Italians in Ghindae. He was defeated and killed. The Italians faced no opposition and no challenge of any, to colonize the whole region. In January 1890, the Italians announced the creation of the colony of Eritrea.

In the end of 1886, Dazmach Mesfin W/Michael & Dazmach Tesfa Nexaray broke jail and headed toward #Midri-Bahri to free their people. General Alula run away to Tigray in 1887. Dazmach Mesfin ruled Midri-Bahri from 1887-1889

After the plot, Alula took his army and settled in Midri-Bahri. He applied the known philosophy "Divide and conquer" towards the almost dying r/ship of the Midri-Bahri chief rulers. They remain enemies until the coming of the Italian colonization.
