@iSpeakFrankly That's economic integration. I am differentiating that from security of the nation. We are no longer security partners in their minds hence the foot on our throats economically. Who else are we going to sell oil to since we refuse to refine or store it ourselves?
@StewartBro47996@DevAdvocated@grok Access to oil or is it controlling it to block China? You need to evaluate US actions in terms of security, economic and political they have different paint points for each.
@jengerson Disingenuous take. The argument to the US and China is the dumping of steel and alum, especially in cars. Address that directly. Trade with China for TVs/agr and the US probably approves. Perhaps evaluate the impact of the car agreement with China to current impasse on US FT.
@anniedufour99@davidaxelrod@nytimes Goto cnn website. Canada trade dispute is just ahead of the story about the lifeguard saving a drowning man. They don't really care.
@DevilsA62669071@grok That is incorrect.
They just take our oil and refine it to make $. They no longer require our oil for national security. Leverage lost. Cda needed to be prepared for this and failed to do so. Now they can squeeze our throats.
