This is where we are at. The entirety of any “free trade” deal with the U.S. was always premised on a good-faith, partnership.

John Turner knew (decades ago), if the U.S. ever did an about-face, they would use economic levers we handed them, in bad faith (unlawfully, with Trump), to attack our sovereignty.

Unfortunately, after decades, we have a large swath of our population who are just too dumb and too eager to be traitors.

I really do think they’re missing the point, when asking if anyone at Good Good raised any concerns, whether the woman felt comfortable.

I am sure they thought it was “Good Good”, edgy and exactly what they are, would be putting out.

That’s the problem with their initial statement. It is entirely devoid of real accountability, because it was completely disingenuous; it is a representation of their values, culture and, by those defending them, a core group of their market. The problem is, they never thought that was a problem; they do now.

We shall see if this has serious impact on Good Good, beyond the short term. I believe it will.

The facts on the bridge aren’t controversial; Trump’s unlawful repudiation of the agreement signed years prior, using extortion, to force Canada into a new deal is. Those extorted terms, changed, daily, at the whims of the criminal-fraudster sitting in the White House.

Carney’s “fault” was in not calling this out, though, again, would have been prejudicial to getting that resolved.

So, the “deficit” of trust, comes from a class of Cons, the victim-class, whom CPC, embarrassingly, solicits for votes. These individuals would put forward any delusions, claims, that support their lifelong projections, for their own failures.

So, in the end, Canadians have nothing to gain from its Government breaking from confidence its trading partners, those it continues to negotiate with, demand.

It would be prejudicial to Canadian interests, to do as the Conservative Party of Canada; chase cheap political points, from a class of individuals, who will never be satisfied, as their failures have cemented their lot, not the actions of those they lay projections upon. They would hold Canadians hostage, before ever admitting failure, their incessant need for projection.

Callaway will take a short-term hit. It will cost them, surely. They’ll survive (of course) and eventually, memories will fade.

This is how marketing works, a big miss costs more than a hit. They took a really bad risk (I expect they will never come out and say it, but heads will roll, or already have).

As to Good Good, I feel their market is way more flaky. Of course, they have now cornered the dipshit-market. Unfortunately, that was always there and they could be facing a major disruption to their revenue stream; way less traffic (so, sponsors leaving) and, of course, folks not wanting to be caught dead wearing their merch (probably a massive hit).

Every single claim the Trump Administration makes, as to why the Free Trade Negotiations failed, comes from the delusional claims of Canadian Conservatives, on social media.

Trump now makes claims about what the Canadian Government is saying; which comes from…victim-class, Con, failures’ fiction, on social media. You really can make this shit up, I guess.

These people are crying about their own Government, while Trump et al., are simply repeating conspiracies, the victim-class made up.

I only fault Ford for letting this get personal. He isn’t entirely wrong, but Trump isn’t exactly a person that acts on logic and reason.

No matter how right we may be, Trump will lash-out, regardless of consequences to Americans, or Canadians, because he has already bragged that he is making $$$ Billions, personally, in manipulating markets.

This is the conundrum for Canada; we’re not negotiating with the U.S., American people and their interests. You’re negotiating with a megalomaniac, corrupt, criminal-fraudster, authoritarian.
