@phillrosen Withdrawals can take a bit longer due to a two-day industry-standard settlement period during which we cannot transfer the funds. Following settlement, the ACH transmittal of funds to your bank account takes 1-2 days, depending on your bank's processing time. Hope this helps!
@ywong17 As a note, To protect our clients and comply with regulatory obligations, we require that any bank account that is connected to a Betterment account be owned by that client. We need to confirm ownership when funds are being withdrawn from Betterment to an external institution.

@CynicalWalt While this is not something Betterment supports at this time, recently, there has been a lot of internal conversation surrounding the building out of this ability. There is not a timeline for when it will be available, our team will be sure to let you know when it does launch!
