@FarmPolicy Even if it did hurt yields, farmers need to consider profit per acre going forward. A yield reduction, while lowering input costs, can actually increase profitability per acre.

@dustinkittle Farm Credit fought to keep in house appraisers during the Dodd-Frank Legislation debate. Now they’ve hired most of the rural appraisers in rural America - making it harder for banks to find non farm credit employed appraisers.
