If you’re just now waking up, you missed A LOT between Devens becoming HOH and the HGs just now going to to sleep at 4 AM. Here’s a recap:

• Devens spent nearly the entire night holding one-on-ones with most of the house as he worked through his Week 2 nominations.

• The Crossovers and Red Corner groups officially came together under a new alliance name: The Toolshed. The group currently includes Devens, Dee, Angela, Drew, Barrett, Haley, Kamu, and Chuk.

• A major house divide began taking shape as The Toolshed compared notes and worked through a plan to weaken Rome’s side, though several relationships throughout the house remain fluid.

• Rome worked to protect himself and his closest allies. He offered Devens a deal: keep Rome, Lyric, and Jason safe this week, and Rome would return the favor if he won HOH.

• Devens ultimately settled on Melody, Jason, and Lyric as his planned initial nominees, with Rome as the real backdoor target if the veto is used. Melody would serve as the apparent target while the larger plan remains hidden.

• Angela was fully encouraging the chaos. She pushed Devens to take the shot at Rome, helped him plan a dramatic nomination speech calling out the house divide, and wanted him to expose how Rome had been throwing names around.

• Melody’s position took a major hit. Several HGs viewed her as an easy nominee or expendable number, while Devens repeatedly used her as the cover target for his plan.

• Yash, Taylor, and Mallory all received assurances from Devens that he did not plan to nominate them. Devens repeatedly said he did NOT want to put last week’s nominees right back on the block.

• Rome and Lyric continued getting closer throughout the night, kissing multiple times and showering beside one another. Rome also spent much of the night trying to keep Lyric protected.

• Once Rome, Lyric, and Jason noticed a large group gathered in the HOH room without them, Rome repeatedly rang the doorbell and tried to get upstairs. The group stayed quiet and did not answer, leaving the three downstairs fully aware that something was happening.

• The Toolshed members eventually walked downstairs together and passed Rome, Lyric, and Jason without speaking.

• Jason then confronted Barrett, adding even more tension between the emerging sides: “Barrett, are you playing me. The you and Dee thing, are you guys fucking with me? Is it all a ploy, like a scam? Is it a scam to make me comfortable with you guys?”

As of this morning, the plan is Melody, Jason, and Lyric on the block…with Rome potentially getting backdoored. Devens also plans to use his nomination speech to publicly call out Rome and the division in the house.
