University Professor, Retired, but still/always a Sociologist. Engaged citizen. Not snarky to individuals. Does not search for followers—is that a thing?
@SteveLovesAmmo@grok Grok for Dummies. Repeat Q, get different slants. (E.g. “plausible” not = to “likely.”) No discussion of evidence QUALITY. No definitions/evidence of “big” lie and “most people still believe.” No discussion of accumulating evidence changing perceptions over time. Shoddy output.
@Roshan_Rinaldi The ignorance displayed in most of these replies about history of Soviet Russia and Post-Soviet Russia and Ukraine vis a vis the US is profound. Oh, wait—maybe it is deliberate? Imagine that.
@multiplanet1 “The man would rather stutter through THE TRUTH?” Fascinating story of neurodivergence. AND—anyone with skills to see through his DOGE “truths” knows they were ANYTHING BUT true. He either can’t discern beyond his field (but thinks he can) or is a blatant liar. Truly sad.
@mattvanswol Think about it, people. Would a group reaching out to minor children to purportedly support them in conflict with their parents—send a brochure to PARENT’S household mailboxes? Maybe not? Golly—I wonder who MIGHT do such a thing? Use your brain people. It’s called “false flag.”
@misterchambo@mattvanswol Sent to his children, huh? What a clever embelishment to a false flag operation you fell for or collaborated with. You used to make your living as a marketing guru—guess as an “influencer” you still do—but getting punked? Not a smart look. Your professional devolution: just sad.
@LorraineEvanoff I am not as conversant with the various document names during the period beginning with reunification in Germany. Just refreshed my memory. The zombie rises from the German reunification documents of course. I appreciate your coverage of this ongoing foreign policy debacle.
@GovPressOffice People don’t know that this federal “list of non-citizens” has proven to be a list so inaccurate that states that have gone through the process have reduced the REAL non-citizens to ZERO. The list is not provided in good faith, but is simply designed to propagandize false claims.
@multiplanet1 Let’s think about WHY “red tape” and meetings bog things down in the public sector. Demands for accountability are much more pronounced and diffuse among vying interest groups, and tolerance for risk is minimized. That’s how most corporations work too.
@StefanMolyneux News flash! Stefan is a 60 year old boomer according to what you all think a “boomer” is. Talk about a self own. Yeah, yeah, 55+ MUST mean boomers, cause man, that Stefan is a grumpy old man!
@PalmerLuckey@ABC The numbers are wrong? Luckey rightly protests. The way the Trump family is doing business—FAR afield from hospitality/real estate expertise—trading on connections/setting up insider revenue streams, IS THE STORY. Luckey won’t be compromised. OK. Can he speak for the Trump boys?
@dhambrick63 Matching w/commonly configured devices may be illusive? Surely he has access to cutting edge technology. 2 hour battery > a custom-designed supercharged battery. Multi-function designs for multiple organ deficiencies. Implants. We see things but not sure exactly what . . .
@SCP_Hughes Is DC much different today? Nightly events, boss in late (or, really, boss has a fundraising breakfast or two), few engineers.
And every year’s the most effective Congress ever!
@typocatCAv2 This is an amazingly insightful analysis of Active Measures under Trump to undermine accountability and enable his gaslighting. A must read.
@reedgalen Just to remind everyone—this is right out of Project 2025. Hegseth USES religion not like the opiate for the masses, but like testosterone for the masses.
@cljack Looks like most people on this thread do not realize that Americans used and washed out cloth diapers up until first disposables (Pampers) were introduced in 1961. Even so, in ~1965, cloth diapers still accounted for 95% of the market. Through Boomers and into Gen X.
