School Children and Teachers Abduction in Oriire LGA of Oyo State
The reported abduction of School children and teachers in Oriire Local Government has weighed heavily on my heart. In moments like this, we are reminded that the pain of one family is shared by an entire community. My thoughts and prayers are with every parent, sibling, spouse, and loved one affected by this tragic incident.
I have been in touch with relevant parties and remain encouraged by the ongoing efforts of our security and intelligence agencies. They carry an enormous responsibility, and I urge the public to give them the calm, cooperation, and support they need to carry out their work effectively.
At difficult times, fear can divide us, but compassion and unity can strengthen us. We must hold on to hope, stand together as a people, and continue to pray for the safe return of every child and teacher.
May God comfort the families, protect those in harm’s way, and guide everyone working tirelessly to bring this situation to a peaceful end.
Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.
Every new week presents an opportunity to think differently, act boldly, and move closer to the future we desire. Growth does not happen by remaining comfortable with old habits, old fears, or old limitations. It comes from the willingness to learn, improve, and embrace new possibilities.
As we begin this new week, let us remain open to positive change, fresh ideas, and better ways of doing things. Whether in our personal lives, our communities, or our society, transformation starts when we decide not to remain where we were yesterday.
Stay focused, stay hopeful, and keep moving forward. Every small step taken today can lead to greater accomplishments tomorrow.
Happy New Week.
Today, I celebrate a remarkable elder brother, leader, and proud son of Oyo State, Hon. Shina Peller, as he marks his 50th birthday.
Your journey over the years has been defined by resilience, vision, hard work, and a genuine passion for empowering people. Through business, public service, and humanitarian efforts, you have continued to inspire many young people to dream bigger and believe in possibilities.
At 50, your life stands as a testimony to dedication, growth, and impact. Your contributions to the development of our people and your commitment to creating opportunities for others remain worthy of admiration.
As you celebrate this golden milestone, I pray that God grants you continued good health, greater wisdom, peace, and many more fulfilling years ahead.
May the years before you bring even greater accomplishments and lasting happiness.
Today, I took another firm step in my journey to serve the people of Oyo State by submitting my gubernatorial nomination form at the PDP Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
This action further confirms my commitment to this aspiration, not just as a political ambition, but as a call to serve humanity through the instrument of governance.
As I have said before, the best way I can have a fulfilling career is to use my wealth of professional experience to help contribute to the growth and development of my dear state.
With passion, commitment, and deep love for our people, I remain focused on the growth, unity, and progress of every part of Oyo State.
Step by step, we will get there.

A few days ago, I took another decisive step in our shared journey toward a greater Oyo State by obtaining my gubernatorial form at PDP Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
But beyond the form is a deeper commitment, a commitment to continue the struggle for the industrialization and economic transformation of our dear state.
Building on the progress already made, we must now unlock more of Oyo State’s vast potential and take development to the next level. Oyo State is blessed with fertile lands, hardworking people, strategic location, and endless opportunities. What we need now is the courage to move from consumption to production, from dependency to development, and from potential to prosperity.
This vision requires the support, ideas, and commitment of all who believe in the future of Oyo State. A better Oyo State is the collective responsibility of every one of us. From Oke-Ogun to Ibadan, from Ogbomoso to Ibarapa, from Oyo to every community across the state, we all have a role to play in building the future we desire.
We must build industries, strengthen agriculture, expand infrastructure, create jobs, and open new pathways for our young people to thrive.
The journey has started, and there is no turning back.
Together, we will build an Oyo State driven by vision, courage, action, and execution.
Together, we will rise for a stronger and more prosperous Oyo State.

A few days ago, I took a bold and deeply personal step toward a lifelong mission to serve the people of Oyo State by obtaining my gubernatorial form at Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
But this moment is bigger than me.
I run for Oyo State, I run for Oke-Ogun as for Oyo, I run for Ogbomoso as for Ibarapa, I run as well for Ibadan.
For too long, our voices have echoed with hope, waiting for fairness, waiting for inclusion, waiting for our rightful place in the story of Oyo State. Today, that hope is rising stronger than ever and we have crossed the rubicon.
This journey is a call for equity and justice. A call carried by 22 Local Governments, standing united, and strengthened by the support of 11 others who believe that fairness is not a favour it is a right.
Beyond the call, I have now taken action. Leadership is not about dithering and confusion. Leadership is about Vision as it is about Decision as it is about Action and beyond all, execution.
We are saying, clearly and boldly: every region matters, every community counts. This is not just about politics. It is about dignity. It is about giving every child in Oyo State the belief that their dreams are valid, their future secure, and their voices heard. It is about building a state where no one is left behind, and where unity is not just spoken but lived.
I feel the weight of this moment, but more importantly, I feel the strength of our people. Your belief, your sacrifices, your unwavering hope these are the reasons we must not stop.
Together, we will stand for equity. Together, we will demand justice. Together, we will rise for all of Oyo State.
The time is now for the 22 and 11 contest. Not the 22 against the 11.
In unity we win.

Amofin Beulah Adeoye Vindicated: PDP Remains Home as Governor Seyi Makinde’s Stand Comes to Pass
Fresh FM Interview, Saturday, 4th May 2025
A month ago, I made my position clear on Fresh FM’s “State of the Polity” with Mayor Isaac Brown. I stated without hesitation that the PDP will not drown, and that we are not leaving the party. I also made it clear that Governor Seyi Makinde shares this belief, and that together, we remain committed to strengthening and rebuilding the PDP from within.
Today, that position has been proven right. Despite the pressures, speculations, and expectations from many quarters, we have stayed true to our word. The PDP remains our platform, and we are focused on resolving our issues as a party, not abandoning it.
This moment is a reminder that leadership requires conviction, patience, and belief. We are not just participants in the PDP, we are part of those committed to its future.
The PDP is going nowhere. We will stay, we will engage, and we will build a stronger party together.
Warm birthday wishes to two remarkable brothers and outstanding media personalities, Samuel Ibikunle (Arugboboisi) and Emmanuel Ibikunle (Elere Oba).
Today, I celebrate not just your new age, but your impact, your voice, and your dedication to informing, inspiring, and connecting people across Oyo State. Your passion for the media space and your consistency in delivering quality engagement have made you both respected figures and true professionals.
As friends and beloved brothers, I deeply appreciate your support, your sincerity, and the positive energy you bring wherever you go. May this new year of your lives bring you greater success, good health, and even more opportunities to do what you love.
May your voices continue to shape conversations and inspire many.
Happy Birthday once again, and many more fulfilling years ahead.
On behalf of myself and my team, I warmly celebrate Ibadan High Chief and Baba Isale Musulumi of Ibadanland, Oloye Nureni Akanbi, Arole Ile’ba, on the occasion of your birthday.
As the revered family head of Iba Oluyole, the founder of Ibadan, your life represents history, honour, and deep cultural pride. Your leadership, wisdom, and commitment to the growth of Ibadanland and Oyo state in general continue to inspire many across generations.
Your role in preserving our heritage and guiding the community with dignity is truly commendable. You remain a pillar of unity and a voice of wisdom in our land.
On this special day, I pray that Almighty Allah grants you good health, long life, and continued strength to serve your people and humanity.
