Cllr Beverley Baynham co-leader of the Powys independents says that her group is "uncomfortable" with the Council Tax rise and budget proposal - she says they intend submitting Alternative Budget proposal by January 29.

@Masparrow @ElganHearnLDR True. But for me the priority is to get all the kids in the catchment going to JB rather than Lady Hawkins, Wigmore & Bishops Castle. Where there’s no 6th form at either Lady Hawkins or Wigmore so they can’t use that as the excuse!

@NewsatTwm @ElganHearnLDR Yes Twm. We haven’t had a 6th form for years. The kids voted with their feet and go in the main to Hereford. A transport grant can be reclaimed from Powys. There is no point having a 6th form in John Beddoes. Let’s get the kids in the area going to Yr 7 for a start!!

@Argos_Online any idea where my order is?? Placed order on 28th, picked delivery for 30th. Received confirmation of delivery. Had a text late yesterday afternoon to say sorry item been delayed. Will be delivered next day- 31st. Guess what?!? No sign of item and no updates!

Cllr Baynham - she is asking the Cabinet to take "ownnership" of their portfolio and reminds them that they mostly live in areas outside the four hub towns.

@sjheditor I had the opposite. Lady turned up for viewing stayed 20mins. Thought no interested. Next day offers 10k over asking price - cash buyer!
Obviously accept. Visited x2 with son & to measure. We moved out she rang & emailed 15+times. Even emailed to ask where to plug wifi router in
