The Beverly Crushers

SF Band writing songs in homage to Star Trek: The Next Generation. Deep references and layered production values. #startrek #surpriserock #sickbay #TNG

@CannedAirPod @nacellecompany @brianvolkweiss @gates_mcfadden @LOTBTBD @TngTrek @StarTrek @BeverlyResists @STAunchambiTION Great episode! I wore my Skroob canned air shirt while listening.

Star Trek: The Next Generation premiered on TV on Sept 28, 1987 --> meaning today, Jan 28, 2021 is TNG's 33 and 1/3 year birthday. Celebrate with Trek vinyl, like "Sick Bay" and also cake. #startrek #tng #vinylrecords

Funk bass, Horns, Hammond Organ---what more could you want?

[The Beverly Crushers @beverlycrushers]

@MarcieStarfleet I wrote, arranged, and professionally recorded a Star Trek: The Next Generation-themed album's worth of songs (and continue to write more)

We released an exclusive bonus track / outtake from Sick Bay today called "Space and Time". It's about Q, and it's explicit(ly catchy). Get it ONLY on Bandcamp with any $4 download of the record. #BandcampFriday

Crossover idea: TNG and A-Team. (the Aw-A*Team?). We've already got Murdoch on TNG playing Barclay. Face is # 1, Hannibal is Picard. I mostly just want to see Mr T. insist on getting sedated every time they need to put him on the transporter pad. #tng #StarTrek

[The Beverly Crushers @beverlycrushers]

Used playing cards to randomly decide which TNG episodes to watch last night. Came upon "Pegasus" "Matter of Time", and eventually, the dreaded Season 2 clip show finale "Shades of Gray" - which might have given us the most laughs overall

[The Beverly Crushers @beverlycrushers]

Re-watching Seinfeld and TNG - both 90s classics. Question - do you think that TNG is less dated (by comparison, in terms of societal attitudes, etc...) simply because the writers were “willing” their minds into the future and thus reaching a more progressive worldview?

[The Beverly Crushers @beverlycrushers]

@bertkreischer I gotta go with “The Marine Biologist” - George’s speech is about the sea is quotable af

[The Beverly Crushers @beverlycrushers]

@BlairBlair1979 Hell yeah - always glad to connect over Trek

[The Beverly Crushers @beverlycrushers]

Our record label is doing a 2 for 1 sale for holidays. I’m watching S1E19 Heart of Glory and, like Worf, listening to the voice of my blood

[The Beverly Crushers @beverlycrushers]

@qapla138 Are you almost in a coma from doing the Bossa Nova?

[The Beverly Crushers @beverlycrushers]

@BevCrusherMusic @gates_mcfadden Agreed

[The Beverly Crushers @beverlycrushers]

@manishspace @gates_mcfadden Don’t be suspicious, friend - just tryin’ get the music heard. #trekrock

[The Beverly Crushers @beverlycrushers]

@gates_mcfadden Thanks, doc!

[The Beverly Crushers @beverlycrushers]

@BevCrusherMusic @gates_mcfadden Better question: How many should there be?

[The Beverly Crushers @beverlycrushers]

This is awesome.
