Letโs make some noise for FFT
Dear traders, how do you guys bounce back after taking a drawdown on a prop firm challenge?
Do you step away for a while, review your trades, or keep pushing?
Would love to hear how you handle it. ๐๐ฝ
We suffer not because life is hard,
We suffer because we expected it to be easy.
We expected people to be loyal,
Life to be fair,
And healing to be fast.
Lower your expectations, increase your peace.
@Laiiyylaa The hardest person to get over is not the worst person.
It's the one who is everything you want,
but know they will never choose you.
And you have to walk away from someone you never even had.
@anxietymsgs Expectation is the thief of joy because:
You expect too much from people who promised too little,
And too little from yourself who could do so much more.
The hardest pill to swallow:
Hard work doesn't guarantee success.
Good heart doesn't guarantee loyalty.
And being real doesn't guarantee people will be real with you.
Market foundations. What you're actually buying when you buy a stock.
Equity basics.
A stock is partial ownership in a real company. You benefit two ways. Capital gains, when the share price rises. Dividends, your share of company profit, paid directly to you.
The NGX.
The Nigerian Exchange lists major domestic companies, Zenith Bank, Dangote Cement, GTCO, MTN Nigeria. All traded in naira.
The US markets.
NYSE and NASDAQ list global giants, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon. All traded in US dollars.
Same underlying idea. Two completely different currencies and economies.
Owning stock on either exchange means you own a real, verifiable slice of a real business, not just a number on a screen.
