@ProductionsShe @beckyhopepalmer @Kofi_Smiles @RadioHumberside @bbcnofilter As women in who work in different care roles, how do you manage your own self-care and compassion alongside your work?

[Beverley Mutual Aid @bevmutualaid]

@ProductionsShe @beckyhopepalmer @Kofi_Smiles @RadioHumberside @bbcnofilter Looking forward to hearing from these local ladies. All of them are part of such an important industry especially during this time! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Due to Covid-19 businesses are not permitted to offer any seating for customers within or outside their premises. Customers should not sit at any tables or chairs provided by businesses. We ask the public & businesses to adhere to the Government regulations to help save lives.

#BEVERLEY #MCDONALDS speaking to staff they have told us a few customers have reacted angrily when they have had to turn them away. Staff are doing their best to get everyone served but have a limit to capacity so at times they have to turn you away to keep roads clear #bekind

[East Riding Council @East_Riding]

Tonight we'll be clapping for all public sector workers, NHS colleagues, key workers, for adult social care and all the fantastic carers across the East Riding. Thank you each and every one of you.

🛍 Missing high street shopping?

Here’s a lovely scheme to get your shopping fix:

Over 135,000 tonnes of brand new clothes could be heading for landfill & millions of Bangladeshi garment workers are left unemployed & facing starvation.

Thank you to all those who are staying home this weekend. Your consideration for others means that those that really need to travel to get to work or to care for others can travel in safety.
Once lockdown is over, we'll look forward to welcoming you all back on board 😊

[East Riding Council @East_Riding]

If you visit East Riding coast or Local Nature Reserves this weekend please stay alert, observe social distancing & respect local communities. Residents need space & shops are intended for essential purchases by locals. A trip to the coast will not offer the usual facilities.

An update!

Key points:

1. We are still here! Please contact us if you need help.

2. We are all feeling the ‘weight’ of this now (some more than others)but we must strive to stay compassionate & open to understanding other people’s circumstances & ways of coping.

[Beverley Mutual Aid @bevmutualaid]

5. Support local businesses. They need us more than ever & they’ve done an incredible job at serving the community at this time.

6. Be kind. Always.
