A Texas mom of four is warning women of faith about Democrat James Talarico.

Christina: "When you want to twist God's word and speak blasphemy against God, trust me, you are no Christian."

She's furious that Talarico supports boys in girls' sports and men in women's restrooms.

"I don't want my daughter in the same bathroom with a grown man."

She also warns that if parents who refuse to affirm a child's gender identity get labeled abusive, the state could come for their kids.

Texas moms are paying attention.

James Talarico went on CNN last night and told a Texas town hall that "the Bible is silent on the issue of abortion." A few minutes later, when he was asked whether the Bible is God's final authoritative word, he said "Yes." He can't have it both ways. If Scripture is the final word, then it isn't silent about the child God is forming in the womb.

The best moment of the night came from a voter, not the candidate. Jody Hunt, a Catholic from Burleson, stood up and told him "the Bible is not silent on abortion. There is the Ten Commandments, thou shalt not kill." She said Catholics take great insult when it's made to sound that way, and as a Christian woman, so do I. Psalm 139 says God knit us together in our mother's womb. Jeremiah 1:5 says He knew us before He formed us. That's not silence.

He also used the town hall to walk back calling God "nonbinary," saying he was just "being provocative." Texans should take note of that, because it tells you how he treats faith: as something to bend for whatever audience is in front of him. Early voting starts Monday, and I'd rather have a senator who takes God's Word as it's written than one who decides what it says.
