@dykejonze I love it when a movie fucks me up! One of the first movies that did that to me was Coraline lol I saw it in theaters and my 8 year old brain was like “nothing will be scarier than this”. I love feeling big emotions
Mathilda by Mary Shelley is a beautiful and profoundly sad book. I feel like I can’t describe it without watering it down but the main components of it are incest, suicide, death and despair. I really encourage everyone to read it (it’s fairly short, too)
