Having a high-carbohydrate diet does not mean spaghetti 7 nights a week. Other good carb sources are: cereals, fruits, juices, breads, rice, plain baked potatoes, peas, corn, fruit, yogurt and frozen yogurt. Carbo-loading should begin months before the race, not the night before.
@orangetroy1970 Depends on how accurate you want to track your HR. Most wrist based HRM are extremely off when you first start running but evens out after a few minutes to within 10ish BPM. The chest strap is more accurate but you have to deal with battery life.
It’s been a tough year. Virtual events have kept me motivated to stay active. This is one of my new favorite medals that I earned in October for the virtual #clubrundisney 10K. Have a great week everyone! #medalmonday
@cavershamjjruns I used to use a garmin HR strap. Now I just use my watch as an estimate. If you want accurate data throughout your run look into the garmin HR or the garmin run (I think that’s what it’s called).
