Well, I only went and bloody did it!!
#manchestermarathon 1st marathon completed!! So tired, so happy!
Quite happy with my time, considering my legs were starting to fall off by mile 22!
Actually enjoyed it! (Who'd have thought it?!)😂 Brilliant day!!😊

Had a lovely morning volunteering at ⁦@bheadparkrun⁩ in a fabulous Finish Tokens Team. All went very smoothly, even when at its busiest time 👍🏻😁 Got home to this email, I had totally forgotten that this happens for 25 occasions! #loveparkrun ⁦@parkrunUK⁩ 🎉

@RocktheFrizBarr Excellent! I would have porridge an hour before leaving for my run and then on longer runs I’d put tailwind in my hydration backpack as it’s kinder on the tum! Trial and error in advance of race day is the best route!🙂

So, after very lazy lockdowns complete with fitness loss/weight gain I have started ‘running’ again. V slow progress with lots of “why did I do this to myself?!”
