For a second I was so happy and shocked that Plunderstorm had finally became a PvP mode for our main characters, just to realize it's the same thing that's in the main menu... Why you torturing me? ๐ข @Warcraft@WarcraftDevs MAKE IT HAPPEN! ๐
@Wowhead Just a hunch, but I think they are trying to test out if this will bring any major "physical" problems to the gameplay or not. If not, they will probably add it as a character customization option.
@TheRedShirtGuy Forgot classic era and hardcore, which are technically also 2 separate versions of the game, with a decenet playerbase, especially ERA. And here I am wishing for more, with TBC and WOTLK ERA. Let us have all our separate versions of the game, so we can all play alone in peace ๐
@Warcraft@WarcraftDevs
Could you please add an option to turn off dragon racing music just like you can turn off pet battle music? It's a bit too much after 10 races in a row and it would be nice to hear the music from old zones while racing. Thank you.
@BagelBackpack@Cracklingice1@Wowhead maybe at the start of TBC yes, but the population did start growing later on, until there was a huge boom and look at the state of ERA now. To keep it up, was probably one of the best decisions from Blizzard and I think it could certainly work for WOTLK at least (after a while)
A similar principle could be applied to a battle above Vashj'ir, where you have to move between islands. Maybe having a limited time water walking ability or something. Regarding the Netherstorm version, I think the dragonriding should also have some limits or be like an ability.
@Warcraft@WarcraftDevs@KirbyAu
Since Plunderstorm has ended, here are the top 10 maps I really wish we could see in the future:
1. Tol Barad (preferably the 2 islands united in one map)
2. Scholazar Basin
3. Un'Goro Crater
4. Winterspring (snowstorm)
5. Silithus (sandstorm)
As a final thought, but maybe a bit extra: a battle in Netherstorm (or maybe any other Outland area), where a netherstorm erupts in the middle of the map and starts expanding, pushing players to the edge, forcing them to use dragonriding to find the last small safe spots.
@KirbyAu Great job with this experiment, now just one thing: expend on the idea. More versions, more zones, a playable BG mode for the main game. So many possibilities with a great start, just please don't stop here. You can literally revive old unused zones now. Looking at you Tol Barad.
@TaliesinEvitel Imagine if one of them has cooking profession and occasionally walks to the fire to make food for the rest of the group. Now that would be cool. ๐
@Warcraft Finally, I can free up some space on my SSD. ๐ Call me when TBC and WOTLK ERA are a thing. You know, the expansion that are actually classic. ๐
