In 2024, an employee at engineering firm Arup transferred $25.6 million after joining a video call where every other participant was a deepfake. Since then, AI has advanced significantly and is making impersonation increasingly convincing, causing challenges for financial institutions in particular. As autonomous agents begin handling more financial activity on behalf of people, establishing an added layer of trust and security behind a transaction or sensitive conversation is becoming an urgent need.
Introducing @world_id for banking and finance, a suite of technologies that helps institutions establish trust through privacy-preserving cryptographic Proofs. World ID for Zoom lets meeting participants confirm they are the same Orb-verified human connected to their account, while World ID for agents allows AI agents to carry Proofs delegated by people. Bain Capital, OpenExchange, Outtake, Pantera Capital, and VanEck Funds are initial design partners, bringing World ID into some of finance's most consequential interactions.

introducing Trusted Agent Delegation (TAD)
@Cloudflare and @worldnetwork are collaborating on a new framework to enable secure agent delegation
the ultimate goal is for TAD to empower people to use their personal agents on any site across the internet, without sites getting crushed by fraud/abuse from bad bots or bad actors
today at Cloudflare Connect we presented our shared vision for an approach centered around restoring the relationship between sites and users when using hosted agents, which is currently obscured
it will also support next generation attestations and verifications, starting with World ID's Proof of Human
we will publish the white paper and establish a working group in the coming weeks to collaborate with the broader agent ecosystem
On Sunday, World announced that Zoom and several financial companies are adopting its “proof of humanity” technology to keep out malicious bots.

Live from Zoomtopia: “Our partners offer additional layers of security that can work in the background of your meetings, like @world_id for Zoom, which uses hardware-backed biometric checks to give Zoom participants a verified human badge.” — Russell Dicker, CPO at @Zoom
Existence we're living inside the Matrix has been confirmed...
Or at least headed towards Minority Report.
Either way, the World ID app @worldcoinfnd is currently the best/only real-proof of a unique human. Your retinal scan + ongoing face ID generates the ~2k World Foundation proof token.
This solves Agent impersonation.
Zoom & Tinder implement it to prevent deepfakes.
There's probably no rush to get it done today, but I can see agentic systems in the future using World ID for realtime and cached authorizations to act on your behalf.
#cloudflareconnect
Humans + agents + AI + the future of the internet.
Hear about it all from @Cloudflare and World at Cloudflare Connect on Tuesday.

Building a trust layer for the Internet requires both network resilience and Proof of Human. Excited to welcome @worldnetwork as our Marquee Partner for #CloudflareConnect in SF, Oct 19–21! Let’s build what’s next, together. https://t.co/YCwgnPlLDj
Trust is becoming the internet's scarcest resource and most valuable commodity.
We hope to see you at @money2020 where World and @tfh_technology co-founder @alexblania will discuss human infrastructure for the age of AI.
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test.
48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video.
It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
