It looked destined for the final after Gordon's goal. Instead pushing for the second, England opted to settle and complacent in the back and inviting relentless Argentina pressure. That's a momentum change where Argentina switched gears and Messi drifted into flanks and stretched England's defensive shape and orchestrated wave after wave of attacks.

The England ship once sailed confidently began to shake, crack and eventually sank.. Sad face for England in the end...

Painful to see England playing a 3rd place match against France.. Thomas Tuchel did everything to stop Messi but not until the end..
