Tonight we had the privilege of hearing about the Tanzania trip from our students. We were lucky to be joined by Councillor Coombs who was keen to hear about the resilience and determination of our students. What a remarkable achievement. #proudtoberns

4 of our students have joined with students at The Thomas Aveling School to spend a month in Tanzania. Set up by Mr Fenton, our students are working with the Camps International Team to build classrooms and renovate wells for the people there.
Congratulations to Kaie A, Jude C, Lilly-May B and Andre F doing doing themselves and our community so proud! A special shout out also for Jude C who celebrates his birthday out there next week. #proudtoberns

As today is National Teacher Appreciation Day, Year 9 students decided to share the PINK and nominate members of staff to receive a wrist band for their politeness, inspiration, neat appearance and kindness.

Yesterday in Science students were investigating the reactivity of metals and finding out which metals will displace less reactive ones from solution. It was amazing to see our fantastic students engaged in such an amazing lesson. #proudtoberns
Earlier this week, our Year 11 students had their annual shirt signing event as they come towards the end of their GCSE examinations. It was fantastic to see so many staff and students wish each other good luck for the future. #classof23#proudtoberns
We have started a positive noticing campaign across Year 9.
Students were asked over the last week to “Think PINK.” Students demonstrating values were allocated a wrist band to display with pride.
