NEW 🚨 Celebrity Big Brother is set to be dropped entirely by ITV, according to reports from The Sun. #CBBUK #BBUK

Insiders are reporting that producers are struggling to sign up celebrities at a cost suitable for ITV2, and that bigger names are more interested in The Traitors.

ITV’s latest statement suggests plans might have changed, saying today: “Big Brother returns to ITVX and ITV2 later this year. No decisions have been made for 2027 as yet” which is a contrast to their previous statement last year: “We are committed to both Celebrity Big Brother and Big Brother beyond 2025, and scheduling for any new series will be confirmed in due course. The show remains a priority reality format for us.”

The thing that’s really annoyed me with #doctorwho being temp cancelled is why would you not just make the Christmas special to give it a proper end… The viewers don’t even want a big budget show. And why lie about scripts and about there being a Christmas special. It’s all odd.

In all fairness, late & live was rubbish compared to its’s predecessors. I think this is a smart move but it still needs to keep a fun element, all of these podcast style after shows are a little too stiff. #BBUK #CBBUK

🚨 After Big Brother: Late & Live ended for good, it’s now reported that #BBUK will return with a NEW sideshow this year.

It’ll be a stripped back ‘vodcast’ style, as bosses state L&L wasn’t making sense in terms of cost but they know “fans need more than just a 60 minute show.”
