Something I saw today on Xiaohongshu really moved me.
A VIP player has been messaging Papergames' customer support for THREE consecutive days. Not to complain. Not to demand. To encourage them.

"Resist the pressure."
"Don't let negative emotions get to you."
"You've worked so hard."
"Take care of your team's wellbeing."

And the support team? They were responding at midnight. Sending hugs.
Saying "we just want everyone to be able to enjoy the game happily."

These are real people on the other side of that chat. They poured their hearts into creating Valko. They begged players to give him a chance. And then they had to watch him get erased.

In China’s online spaces, global players are being painted loudly as insulting / disrespecting China, which is a serious accusation & commonly used against foreign brands, celebrities or content perceived as offensive to China.
