An events company that specialises in events involving young people, producing spectacular shows with fun, high quality, entertainment for audiences. 🎶🌟🎵
At our most recent Beyond Words Crew meeting, we worked on communication skills, using an exercise that you may recognise! Sitting in pairs, back-to-back, one member had to describe a line drawing to the other to help them recreate the image. Take a look at the results below!
#Happy New Year to everyone. Make your #resolutions – broken any yet? Beyond Words has a #New Year resolution and that is to give #newopportunities to as many young people as possible.
Being unique is good, #reindeer are unique as they are the only animals to eat moss as it helps them keep their blood #warm. Beyond Words knows that #young people are unique and amazing giving much to our #communities right now.
Did you know that 3% of the ice at the #antaric glaciers is #penguin urine. Life is interesting as small changes can impact on so much just like our #1000voices choirs impact on the lives of #youngpeople.
The fingerprints of Koala bears are so indistinguishable from humans they have caused confusion at crime scenes. Beyond Words knows that everyone is unique so let’s #celebration our uniqueness and individuality just like #roseayling-ellis and #johnwaite well done to you both.
Did you know that a good laugh can use as many calories as 15 minutes on a rowing machine so let keep fit. “What does Santa do when his elves misbehave?” “He gives them the sack!” Which TV Christmas Special is being filmed in Brussels this year?” “Deal or no deal”
Laughter is so good for you it reduces stress and anxiety so let’s get laughing. “What do snowmen have for breakfast?” “Snowflakes!” “How will Christmas dinner be different since Brexit?” “No brussels.” Do things to make you laugh this Christmas and have fun.
How about the odd joke to lift the spirits in the middle of all the shopping. “What did the stamp say to the #Christmas Card?” “Stick with me and we’ll go places.” “What do you get if you get cross a snowman with a vampire?” “Frostbite”. Yes its Christmas!
Being specific is good and the Smith’s Cracker company started to sell to specific markets. They made Crackets specially for Bachelors and Spinsters that contained false teeth and #wedding rings. We all enjoy the things at Christmas, good food, lots of #music and #pantos.
Tom Smith had three sons and they all joined the family business. Walter travelled looking for new ideas and added a hat and a crack stick to crackers to give it a bang. We know that next year our shows are going to go with a bang. Keep following #BeyondWords to find how more.
Tom Smith launched the first Christmas Cracker in 1861 containing a sweet and toy. This goes to show how a small idea can grow into something amazing. Like a group of young people aged 16-18 and a little idea 10 years ago and this has grown into some amazing concerts #choirs
